Oscar Mike Hill Challenge™ is the third race of the 2025 Tactical Triad™ and our brand new SURVIVE THE FIVE™. You have 5 races to run 3 for the Tactical Triad. If you run all 5 races, you will receive a super cool prize! The five races are: Heartbreak Ridge, Run to the Radar, Oscar Mike Challenge, Buffalo Alley, and Tun Tavern Ten. Tactical Triad medals and Survive the Five prizes will be given out at Tun Tavern Ten in November.

WHO
Oscar Mike is open to Active Duty, their families, MIL Retirees, and authorized base patrons.

SCHEDULE
7:30am – Check-In and Venue Opens
8:30am – Wave 1 Start
Additional Waves every 20 Minutes

AWARDS

• A "Top 3" finisher board will be onsite to track podium winners.
• Awards and MCX Card Prizes to top-3 M/F fastest time
• $100/1st, $75/2nd, $50/3rd 
• A running clock will be provided at the top of the hill to check your time as you finish. Awards/Prizes will be presented after the last wave finishes.

DIRECTIONS
Las Pulgas Gate entrance: I-5 Southbound
Take the Las Pulgas exit and head EAST towards the Las Pulgas gate. Continue 4-miles on Las Pulgas Rd then turn RIGHT at Basilone Road. 
Turn LEFT at Vandegrift, stay on Vandegrift for 3-miles, then LEFT at 19th Street, RIGHT on G Street then follow the signs to the race venue and parking area.

Main Gate entrance: I-5 Northbound
Take the Camp Pendleton/Harbor Drive exit
Enter the main gate and continue on Vandegrift for 10 miles then turn LEFT at 19th Street, RIGHT on G Street then follow the signs to the race venue and parking area.

San Luis Rey Gate entrance: (back gate)
Enter the SLR gate and continue on Vandegrift for 4 miles then turn RIGHT on 19th Street, RIGHT on G Street then follow the signs to the race venue and parking area.

RULES

• 13+ age limit (for safety, please adhere to the age limit)
• No headphones/ear buds allowed
• No strollers/dogs due to rough terrain
• Event is held rain or shine (unless deemed unsafe) 
• Pendleton Races has the right to modify the course if necessary for safety or base training exercises
• There will be a 12-minute time limit to run the 1K (.62/mile) distance and reach the top of the hill. (with a little wiggle room)
