Come Find Your Sea Legs
The Combat Center Swim Team provides swimmers with encouragement and opportunities to strive for excellence within all facets of competitive sports including sportsmanship, integrity, teamwork, and discipline. We support the growth of newer athletes and athletes continuing their athletic journey.
Offering beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
Tryouts: first Tuesday and Thursday of every month
Tryouts are required for swimmers new to the Combat Center Swim Team and consist of:
- 1 minute tread followed by 1-minute float
- Non-stop 50-meter freestyle swim with rotary breathing
- 25-meter breaststroke swim
- 25-meter backstroke swim
- 15-meter butterfly swim
Swimmers from the prior season will not be required to complete the tryout prerequisites.
Practices: Tuesday and Thursday evenings
Registration Fee: $20 per month or $160 per year.
Program runs January - November.
Open to ages 5 - 18(still in high school). DoD ID required for registration.
Volunteer coaches welcome.
