Semper Fit Recreation Centers (SMP Centers) provide free and reduced-priced recreational activities and services for Marines and Sailors. These centers serve as a ‘hub’ for social connections and a “home away from home” offering WiFi, free use of computers, state-of-the-art video game systems, TVs, selection of movies, and large screen mini-theaters. The centers host a variety of daily, weekly and monthly activities including: billiards, video games, ping pong, air hockey, and foosball tournaments, BBQs, special events, and holiday events.

The MCCS Twentynine Palms Single Marine Program resides inside Spike’s Place and is open to active duty and reservists on orders only. Single and geographical bachelor Marines and Sailors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities including ping pong, pool tables, golf simulator and a variety of game consoles, as well as:
- Free Movies Did you know the Single Marine Program has a theater room available? SMP receives newer movies not yet released to DVD from Navy Motion Picture Service. SMP currently has over 750 movies in their library
- The Gaming Area The Single Marine Program has 12 televisions devoted to gaming and the latest consoles
- Free Shuttle Bus Program, shuttles run seven days a week and are available to transport Marines and Sailors to MCCS facilities aboard base, such as the MCX, eateries, barracks and more. Check out our map!
