Come out and learn to swim with MCCS Aquatics. Hosted at the Training Tank, Bldg. 1508, our American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program offers group lessons for all ages and skill levels. Our year-round classes help build confidence, develop water safety habits, and master new strokes to become a stronger, more capable swimmer.
Lessons by Age
Parent & Child (Ages 6 Months - 3 Years)
Designed to help you and your child explore the water together through guided experiences and activities.
- Preschool 1: Orients your child to the aquatic environment and introduces basic skills.
- Preschool 2: Builds greater independence and helps your child become more comfortable in and around the water.
- Preschool 3: Introduces fundamental propulsive skills to help your child navigate the water with ease.
Our six-level progression ensures every child develops at their own pace:
- Level 1 - Introduction to Water Skills: Building water comfort and safe enjoyment.
- Level 2 - Fundamentals of Aquatic Skills: Learning essential swimming basics.
- Level 3 - Stroke Development: Guided practice to improve fundamental skills.
- Level 4 (Stroke Improvement): Gaining confidence and enhancing stroke technique.
- Level 5 (Stroke Refinement): Increasing efficiency through focused guidance.
- Level 6 (Swimming and Skill Proficiency): Mastering smooth, efficient swimming over greater distances with options for advanced coursework.

How to Register
Register in person at the Training Tank (Bldg. 1508), located right next to the Sunset Cinema. Please note that we accept debit or credit cards only.
