FY25 Parris Island Intramural Rifle and Pistol Competition

For two weeks in October, Marines from MCRD Parris Island and MCAS Beaufort demonstrated their marksmanship expertise in the FY25 Parris Island Intramural Rifle and Pistol Competition at Weapons Field Battalion.

The competition concluded with an awards ceremony on Wednesday, 18 December at Malachowski Hall on Parris Island. The hall honors James M. Malachowski, a dedicated infantry rifleman and combat marksmanship coach who made the ultimate sacrifice during his fourth combat deployment in 2010. In his memory, an award was presented to ensure his service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

MCCS South Carolina was honored to be part of the ceremony, with Semper Fit Director Jeff Odom presenting plaques and unit funds to the winners. Congratulations to all participants for showcasing the elite marksmanship and professionalism of the Marine Corps!
