Volunteer Ready & Craft: Monday, May 19 at 8:00 am - Virtual Event.

Training organization officials on volunteerism and their responsibilities while working with Marine Corps Volunteers.

This course is designed to equip all volunteers, and those managing volunteers, with the knowledge and tools to effectively request, track, and acknowledge outstanding volunteerism. The workshop will cover topics such as defining volunteerism, identifying examples of volunteerism within the local area, tracking of volunteer service on the individual, shop, unit, or installation event level, Marine Corps expectations for volunteer management, and identifying exceptional volunteer behavior and habits. This workshop is highly encouraged for all Volunteer Managers/Accepting Officials.

This workshop will include an opportunity to paint a painting to gift to a local resident at a Veterans Administration Living Facility in Alexandria. 

 Open to DoD ID card holders.
