The MCCS Libraries maintain a collection of print, audio-visual, early literacy programs, book clubs, and electronic resources for educational, informational and recreational pursuits. Resources and services are available to Marines and families.
COMBAT CENTER LIBRARY
The Combat Center Library offers magazine subscriptions, high-speed Internet, computers (25 available for patron use), books, DVDs, CDs, video games and audio books to eligible patrons. Additionally, monthly programs such as game nights and Dungeons and Dragons are offered.

PROGRAMS
SHADOW MOUNTAIN BRANCH LIBRARY
The Shadow Mountain Branch Library offers no-cost WiFi, computers with CAC-readers (4 available for patron use), books, audiobooks, DVDs/Blu-Rays, CDs and video games. A phone/tablet charging station is available. The branch library hosts unique monthly programs as well as weekly story times and curbside crafts. The annual all-ages Summer Reading Program includes prizes and special programs. The Makerspace provides children in grades 3-12 access to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) hands-on activities and resources. 3D printing, assembling robots, musical instruments, telescopes, digital cameras and circuit building are offered. United Through Reading, a no-cost service that allows deploying service members to record a story time to their children, is available. All resources are provided at no-cost to eligible patrons.

LIBRARY DETAILS
In order to checkout materials from either of the libraries, patrons must have a library account. There are two ways to open a new library account. The first option is to visit either of the two libraries on base and open an account at the service desk. Please bring a valid ID card and up-to-date contact information. A library card will be issued at this time. The second option is to sign-up online. If you choose the online option you will not get a library card until you visit the service desk at the library.
