COMBAT CENTER LIBRARY

The Combat Center Library offers high-speed Internet, computers (28 available for patron use), books, DVDs, videogames and audiobooks to eligible patrons. Additionally, monthly programs such as Lego Day and Dungeons and Dragons are offered.

SHADOW MOUNTAIN BRANCH LIBRARY

The Shadow Mountain Branch Library offers no-cost WiFi, computers with CAC-readers (4 available for patron use), books, audiobooks, DVDs/Blu-Rays and video games. A phone/tablet charging station is available. The branch library hosts unique monthly programs as well as weekly storytimes and curbside crafts. The annual all-ages Summer Reading Program includes prizes and special programs. The Makerspace provides children in grades 3-12 access to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) hands-on activities and resources. 3D printing, assembling robots, musical instruments, telescopes, digital cameras and circuit building are offered. United Through Reading, a no-cost service that allows deploying service members to record a story time to their children, is available. All resources are provided at no-cost to eligible patrons.

Patrons can also access Universal Class, ArtistWorks and The Great Courses. Your library's collection of popular digital magazines includes both new and backlist titles with no holds and no limits.   • Mango A digital language learning program for learners of all levels, with courses in over 70 different foreign languages, 21 English Language Learning courses, and 44 specialty courses designed to celebrate world cultures.
  • Military One Source Provides access to MilitaryTutor.com®, a K-12, multiple-subject online tutoring service with live tutors available 24 hours a day.

Service members can stay connected with their families throughout a deployment. United Through Reading allows service members who are about to deploy an opportunity to record themselves reading a story to a child in their life.
