Let's Get the Ball Rolling

The mission of MCAGCC Youth Sports Program is to offer a wide array of organized sports and activities for youth to help them develop desirable physical skills and to mature emotionally and socially. The sport programs provide opportunities for children to have contact with other youth, volunteer leaders, and youth sports program staff. It also provides opportunities for parents and other adults to interact with children and contribute to our community by serving as volunteers in youth programs.

Dedicated to the growth and development of youth football players and cheerleaders ages 5 – 14 years old. Our mission is two-fold: to develop the fundamentals of football and cheerleading and encourage participation in team sports while developing leadership skills and a positive self-image for all participants.  We will accomplish these goals by encouraging positive attitudes, healthy lifestyles, work ethic, discipline and perseverance.

Cheerleading info and sign ups can be found at www.americanspiritathletics.com.

League registration varies per sport. Basketball registration is by grade level: Kinder - 2nd, 3rd - 5th, and 6th - 8th. Soccer, Baseball, Volleyball, Football (Warhawks / Flag) is based off age of participants.

Additional leagues/camps/programs may be added throughout the year. Dates are subject to change.

The Start Smart Program is designed to introduce young children ages 3–4 to the foundational skills needed for future success in sports and physical activity. This program focuses on developing basic motor skills, coordination, and body awareness through fun, age-appropriate activities in a positive and supportive environment.

In addition to physical skills, the program emphasizes social development. Children will practice listening, following simple instructions, taking turns, and interacting with others in a group setting. These early experiences help build teamwork, communication, and confidence in a structured environment.

A key component of the program is parent-child involvement. Parents or guardians actively participate alongside their child during each session, helping reinforce skills, provide encouragement, and create a fun bonding experience. This approach ensures children feel supported while learning and allows parents to better understand how to continue skill development at home.

The Start Smart Programs creates a fun, engaging, and safe introduction to sports while laying the foundation for lifelong physical activity, teamwork, and healthy habits.

Programs offered will be for Sports Development, Soccer, Basketball, Baseball and Tennis.
